We cannot say enough positive things about Ben DeJulio and our experience with him as our homebuilder in Summit County. We acquired our lot in 2004, engaged an architect and started the builder selection process. We interviewed several mountain home builders, all of whom could show us beautiful homes they had built. We narrowed in on Ben because we wanted to communicate directly with the builder and not with a staff that would relay our messages. From prior experience, were convinced that a personal relationship would be more important than the contract we would sign when it came to the inevitable issues that arise with design and construction. Ben delivered on everything, we made a variety of changes during construction which we either decided we wanted or Ben suggested. Some required us to involve our architect for changes to the plans, but most were changes we discussed while touring during construction. Changes are not free and many builders send a pile of paperwork with line item details and charge for everything from the secretary that types things up to the cost of the paper and stamps. Along with a change order document to be reviewed in great detail and signed off on. Ben was happy to do this, but we were busy with work and life…we didn’t want the hassle of paperwork and special documentation because we had built a trusting relationship and suggested we just talk through things. We would ask plenty of questions like what will those two additional beams cost, how about bigger windows or moving that door. Many of our changes didn’t cost anything because Ben suggested them before a particular part of construction had begun and he didn’t have to tear something out after the fact. We could go on and on. By the way, we have not dealt with one warranty item in the past 8 years. For a couple hiccups that came up after we moved in, we just called Ben directly and he handled the items without any discussion or debate.

Ben DeJulio embarked on a project with White Lodging Corporation to build a first-class ranch resort in Wyoming. The Brushcreek Ranch project was very diverse and complex – renovating historic cabins, a 38,000 square foot equestrian center, 28,000 square foot lodge, recreation center, employee housing, aircraft hangar and many other facilities and buildings on the property.

Ben was dedicated to all challenges from evolving scope and magnitude of project coupled with a tight timeline for completion, and he achieved success through collaboration with my team, his organization and myriad of subcontractors.

Ben is trustworthy and highly dependable as evidenced by his ability to lead a large team to overcome obstacles and delivered a high-quality product. We are all proud of what we accomplished and would partner with Ben DeJulio given another opportunity.

I have known Ben for close to ten years. Our friendship started when I selected him to build our dream vacation home in Breckenridge, Colorado. Ben’s company has produced many beautiful homes and has an excellent reputation in the region. I have had previous opportunities to build homes and dealing with Ben was a wonderful one!

It requires in-depth involvement which tends to be very time consuming. This particular situation was more complicated as we live in Miami and distance definitely added many challenges.

Ben was always accessible, reliable and responsive to our needs and alleviated the stress of building a home from out of state. He has tremendous attention to detail which shows in the quality and uniqueness of our custom home. I consider Ben DeJulio to be a trusted family friend. Someone we would highly recommend to anyone considering a building project.

My wife and I had never built a home from scratch so it was very important for us to work with a builder who would be present constantly onsite during construction and who could provide helpful ideas and suggestions. Ben Dejulio absolutely met these goals and we were delighted with the high-quality finished product. Moreover, Ben has continued to provide great service and support since we moved in some eight years ago. Should we build again, Ben would be our first choice.

Building your dream home is one of the most personal endeavors you can experience.

Choosing the right builder makes the difference between success and failure. After researching many local builders, Ben DeJulio became the clear choice. He was willing to focus on the personal goals I established as the homeowner while staying within the allotted budget. Another deciding factor was his reputation for follow-up work. Even after the project’s completion, Ben and his crew have remained available to me for the fine tuning of my home. I am grateful to Ben for helping me to transform my dreams into reality.
